Volumetric coffee heart in a pot

Giving perfume or a book for Valentine's Day is a little stupid, because this is a holiday with a dramatic story telling about true, sincere love. Of course, present must be unusual.
Undoubtedly, you can find something suitable at retail outlets, but it is much more pleasant to make a gift for a loved one with your own hands. Then why not give a coffee heart? Making will take time, effort and patience, but the end result will be worth it. And the happy face of your loved one will only prove to you that your efforts were not in vain.

So, we will need:
1) a sheet of white paper;
2) pencil;
3) scissors;
4) stationery knife;
5) brown fabric;
6) cardboard;
7) hot glue gun;
8) hot glue (several rods);
9) transparent super glue;
10) small pot;
11) coffee beans;
12) a small stick - if it’s crooked, it’s even more interesting;
13) several strips of foam rubber;
14) gypsum or cement.

Step 6. Immediately glue the foam rubber, but leave the tip unglued. Note: The glue cools quickly, so you need to finish the job in a short time.

Step 7. Take the chosen stick and glue it to the tip of the heart, and then seal the foam.

Step 8. For reliability, we tie the entire structure with rope. But if you feel that the stick is held securely, then this is not necessary.

Step 9. Cut 2 strips of brown fabric and wrap the entire heart, covering it with super glue.

Step 11. Then we glue the entire front part, and then the back. Note: when the entire heart is pasted over, we also cover the empty spaces with coffee beans to create a second layer.

Step 12. When our heart is completely ready, we put it aside for a while and prepare the pot. For this we need the pot itself and gypsum (cement).

Step 13. Pour a full pot of gypsum and dilute it with cold water. Mix everything until smooth.

Step 14. We insert the heart into the pot in the position we need and hold it for about five minutes so that the plaster hardens on the trunk.

Step 15. Decorate the pot and heart. I used floral hay and red sisal, but you can use whatever you like. Unleash your imagination!
