Aquarium in a light bulb

The aquarium has long been a decoration of apartment interiors. Most often you can find large aquariums with a capacity of 100 liters or more. However, some prefer nano-aquariums. In this case, unexpected objects such as vases and glasses are used to maintain aquatic organisms. There are even aquariums... in a light bulb. We suggest making such an aquarium yourself.



The materials we need are an incandescent lamp, fine-grained aquarium soil and a small aquatic plant.

First, separate the base from the light bulb. This can be done using a hammer, tapping it on all sides of the base. Just do not use excessive force - the lamp may break.



After removing the base, remove the unnecessary glass parts from the flask. File the edges of the holes in the flask if they are too sharp.



Rinse the flask and pour aquarium soil into it. Then plant an aquarium plant in it and fill the lamp with water. To top it off, put on the base. The resulting aquarium can be placed on a stand or hung if the base holds well on the flask.



Of course, it will not be possible to keep fish in such an “aquarium”.But with the help of it you can surprise your friends and acquaintances. Also, an aquarium in a light bulb can be an original gift.
